Support the Children of Samir Santana — A Loving Father Taken Too Soon

With the deepest pain and heartbreak, I am creating this GoFundMe to honor the life of my brother, Samir Santana, and to support the three beautiful children he leaves behind.

Samir was only 34 years old when his life was stolen from us in a horrific act of violence. While working , he was shot and killed by three armed robbers. He deserved safety. He deserved tomorrow. Instead, our family is left grieving a loss that feels impossible to comprehend.

Above all else, Samir was a devoted father. His kids were his entire world — the reason he worked so hard, smiled so big, and cared so deeply. Everything he did, he did with them in his heart.

Samir wasn’t just loved by his family — he was loved by everyone. He had a rare, beautiful spirit: warm, funny, full of life. He could make anyone laugh and had a way of connecting with people of all ages, from 1 year old to 100. He loved to dance, to joke around, and to bring joy wherever he went.

But what truly made Samir special was his heart. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. If someone was hungry, he would hand them his own food without a second thought. Helping others wasn’t something he did for praise — it was simply who he was. A generous, selfless soul who cared deeply for people. To know him was to love him. The kind of person you feel lucky to have known.

Now, his three children are left facing a future without their father. We are raising funds to support them with daily needs, school expenses, emotional care, and the stability Samir would have fought to give them.
