7 weeks ago, my 22 year old son was found shot in the back in a dark alleyway in Phoenix. He was shot in his T4/T5 vertebraes, shattering them and leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. Praise and thanks be to God that he survived this brutal attack!

He is receiving excellent care and will be discharged home in 4 weeks His equipment and medical charges will be covered by insurance

The reason I have chosen to do crowd funding is the need to make my home handicap accessible for his new needs and to help with finding better transportation for his care outside of our home.

Additionally, my 18 year old daughter is starting her 1st year at ASU. Tuition is fully paid for, but the additional fees and needs will be out of pocket.

I am currently working to help my husband maintain with bills, however I am unsure how long I will be able to continue working once my son comes home.
