Support Samantavajra’s Journey to Paris

Help Samantavajra transform the Paris Buddhist Centre

After 6 years of living and working at the London Buddhist centre, our friend Samantavajra will be moving to Paris to chair the Paris Buddhist Centre. Samantavajra currently supports the young person's project at the Paris centre, offering his skills and dedication to help the Sangha flourish. He hopes to create a thriving centre where people can come to hear the Buddha’s teachings and connect with others looking for a deeper vision of human potential and to give meaning, direction and friendship to those looking for more to life than just a surface level existence.

Samantavajra will be committing much of his time to helping grow the sangha in Paris, but the Paris Centre is not in a position to support him financially for now. He will be working part-time with FutureDharma to cover his basic living expenses, however this will not be enough to cover the additional cost of travel and retreats in order to stay deeply connected to his friends and spiritual community. This is where we come in. We planned to raise £6,000 to fund his travel to the UK for retreats and time in London over the next two years. These connections will sustain him in his Dharma practice, keep him connected to the LBC and UK sanghas, ensuring he can continue giving wholeheartedly in Paris. Given the generosity and support of the Sangha, we have increased the target to £9,000 to aim to raise another year of support.
