Support Sam and His Son's Legal Battle

This GoFundMe I’m setting up is to pay for unforeseen legal fees. I’m Sam Jamison, father to one awesome little boy. I’m asking for anyone that sees this to find it in your heart to help not only myself but him out. He is my whole world; anyone that knows us or has ever been around us knows that we are inseparable. This is all for his sake; I just happen to be the one that has to answer for him.

I have been fighting for him for many years since he was in diapers. He is now 8 years old, and I’m still fighting. This time I’ve been hit with some unforeseen circumstances that put us back in court yet again. I have spent thousands of dollars in the court system over the years, money that should be spent on raising such a wonderful little boy. Unfortunately, everyone doesn’t always agree, and we end up in these ugly situations. I’m asking for financial support to once and for all finish this mess up, stop the fight, and allow him to live a healthy, happy life with his families.

All proceeds will go directly to lawyers, multiple lawyers. I cannot give out details on how this will be done; however, I guarantee all proceeds will be used to make sure he is safe, healthy, and happy. He is the only thing that matters in any of this, and I have done everything I can for him up to this point.

I have already hired attorneys on this matter, and we know that in order to have the best outcome, it will take substantial time and money. I have majority custody of him now and over his schooling. I have always put him first above all other things in life. He is starting to see and feel the effects of the fighting, the loss of time, and the lack of funds for entertainment as well. I have spent everything I have on providing a home for him and fighting in the court systems. He has never and will never go without anything. This is a long overdue battle that needed to happen long ago that I had the chance to finish, and I did not see through. I hoped and prayed that maybe anyone against me would finally wake up and see the bigger picture and stop the fighting.

Every child needs its parents. I’m a firm believer in that. From the deepest parts of my heart, I promise to everyone that I will continue to fight for him no matter what. I will always make sure he does the right thing in life. If there is a family member out there that wants to be part of his life and is good for him, I will do everything I can to make sure they have a relationship. I’ll say it again: this fight is all for him and his best interest.

The funds I am asking for are an estimated guess compared to recent court battles I have already been through. I expect to be between $25,000-$30,000 before it’s all said and done. The retainer fees on the multiple lawyers are the reason I need the funds. I have already been to court without representation, and luckily I knew how to handle the courtroom. Multiple retainers add up quickly, and I will be looking at hourly fees and bills to come in over time.
