Hi I’m Anna and I live in Charlotte, my family and I have a house in Saluda and even though our house is not directly in danger from the fires I feel like I could do more to help. Any money that I receive through this will go directly to the Saluda Fire Department and the other fire departments that have come to Saluda to help fight the Black Cove Complex wildfires. I am hoping to receive up to $3,500 dollars to donate equally. These funds will help the fire departments fight these fires that are raging through a previously damaged area. The green river cove was severely damaged by Hurricane Helene. The hurricane caused massive flooding in the area. The Saluda Fire Department did amazing work in helping get people out that were stranded. That is why I am doing this, because the fire department has done so much for our community and they continue to do so much for us. That is why I want to give back in any way I can.
