Update – Joseph Continues to Need Your Help
Unfortunately, the cancer has spread to Joseph’s liver and lymph nodes. He will need additional chemotherapy and ongoing treatment. Your continued support during this time means more than ever.
From last year: Joseph Christopher is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Salt River Fire Department in Scottsdale, Arizona. After six years of dedicated service to his community, he was recently diagnosed with a germ cell tumor that has spread to his lungs. He is now facing a long and challenging journey through chemotherapy.
Joseph initially began treatment on September 2nd and underwent four months of aggressive chemotherapy, known as VIP, due to the size of the tumor. While he and his family remain hopeful, this new development means his fight is not over, and further treatment is necessary as he continues on the path toward healing and recovery.
Joseph and his partner of 11 years, Julienne, share four children: his stepdaughter, Tatianna (17), and their three sons, Joaquin (9), Jokai (5), and Joel (4).
Due to the sudden and life-altering nature of this diagnosis, any support you are able to provide is deeply appreciated. Donations will go to Joseph and his family as they navigate this difficult time and focus on Joseph’s continued treatment and recovery.
Joseph’s hope remains to overcome this diagnosis and return to serving the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, providing the same care and support to others that he has experienced from the incredible medical team caring for him.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for the continued support shown to Joseph and his family.
All money raised will go to East Valley Firefighter Charities and ALL proceeds from this GoFundMe campaign will go to Joseph and his family.
