We dedicate this fundraiser to our dear friend Jacob, who died September 9th, 2025.

Jacob was a talented and hardworking artist. He was boisterous, hilariously funny, and had absolutely no filter. You could easily hear his loud, nasally laugh over any level of noise in The Dugout, his favorite dive bar in Boston.

Jacob lived without hesitation and always followed his internal compass. In a scary and weird world, Jacob was a rare person who lived without fear. He could create instant connections with just about anybody, and had a talent for humor and silliness. Among his many talents, he was effortlessly skilled at stirring the pot.

Jacob had a spark. He was special. Everyday, we miss Jacob and his humor, laughter, and compassion. This campaign is our effort to celebrate Jacob's life, and to express gratitude to St. Francis House for helping Jacob. Every contribution, large or small, is a testament to the impact Jacob had on us and the world around him. Thank you for celebrating Jacob's life, and remembering the many gifts he shared with all of us.
