Why We’re Doing This
My husband is Filipino, and after visiting the Philippines with his family, I fell in love with the country, its culture, and most importantly, its people.
The Philippines is filled with some of the most welcoming, resilient, and generous people I have ever met. While my visit was an incredible experience, it also opened my eyes to challenges that many communities face every day, especially access to safe drinking water and reliable medical care.
As Americans, it’s easy to take clean water for granted. We turn on a faucet and trust that the water is safe to drink. In many areas of the Philippines, that isn’t always the reality. Families often face limited access to clean drinking water, and healthcare resources can be difficult to access for those who need them most.
After seeing these needs firsthand, I knew I wanted to do something to help.
This project was created to support clean water initiatives and improve the lives of Filipino families and children. A portion of all funds raised will help support a small water treatment and bottled water operation located on my mother-in-law’s property in the Philippines. This facility helps provide access to clean drinking water within the local community and serves as an important part of our long-term vision to expand safe water access.
Additional funds will be used to support efforts that help clean and protect local waterways, creating healthier environments for future generations.
We will also be supporting https://ibmaforasians.org a nonprofit organization in the Philippines that provides food, medical care, and essential support to children and families in need.
Our goal is simple: to make a meaningful difference, one community at a time.
Whether your contribution helps provide clean drinking water, supports a child’s medical care, or assists with environmental cleanup efforts, every donation creates an impact.
Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping us give back to a country that has given our family so much.
Together, we can create healthier communities, cleaner water, and brighter futures.
