Hi, I’m Sharaine — a proud daughter of St. Elizabeth and a recent returnee to Jamaica. I return to Jamaica August of 2025, ready to restart my life and to realign with my purpose.

Just a few months after coming home, Hurricane Melissa devastated my parish and several others. Families lost their homes, farms, and in some cases, everything they owned. Recovery will take years, especially in the rural areas where many still live in wooden structures or homes with zinc roofs — all vulnerable to future storms.

Right now, I’m helping one family rebuild a safe, concrete home — a small 1-bedroom, 1-bath, 450 sq. ft. structure that offers not just shelter, but hope.

But the need goes far beyond one family. Many elderly residents and hardworking farmers are still without secure housing or consistent meals.

This fundraiser will go directly toward purchasing building materials and labor for families displaced by the hurricane.

My goal is simple: to help rebuild St. Elizabeth, one safe home at a time.
