Every Child Deserves a Stable Home. Every Mom Deserves a Real Chance.
Right now, young mothers in our community are fighting to stay sober, manage their mental health, and raise their children — without stable housing or support.
We can change that.
My name is Stacy Masters, founder of Mastering Life Skills (MLS).
I built MLS from the ground up because I understand what instability does to families. I understand what it feels like to grow up without structure, without guidance, without someone teaching you how to build a stable life.
This project is personal to me.
I have seen young moms who want to do better.
Who love their babies fiercely.
Who are sober, or trying to be.
Who are battling anxiety, trauma, depression, or overwhelming stress — while trying to parent at the same time.
And without structure, everything can fall apart quickly.
Now, we are ready to take the next step.
We are raising $50,000 to open a structured, supportive sober and mental health living home for young mothers and their children — a safe place where healing and parenting can happen together.
Who This Home Is For
This home will serve young mothers navigating:
• Addiction recovery
• Anxiety and depression
• Trauma and PTSD
• Bipolar disorder or other mental health conditions
• General instability and lack of safe housing
Some will be sober in recovery.
Some will be managing mental health challenges without addiction.
All will be working toward stability.
What This Home Will Be
This will be a structured living home serving 4–6 moms at a time in a one-year program.
It will be:
✔ Substance-free
✔ Mentally supportive
✔ Structured and accountable
✔ Safe for children
✔ Community-centered
It will be moms cooking dinner together instead of isolating.
Helping each other with bedtime routines.
Attending therapy and recovery meetings.
Practicing coping skills.
Learning budgeting and meal planning.
Celebrating milestones.
It will be children going to bed in the same home every night.
It will be calm instead of chaos.

We are ready to operate, only need help with the downpayment, we can handle the rest.
The only barrier is securing the home.
Why We Are Raising Funds Publicly
Mastering Life Skills is privately owned — not a nonprofit — which means we do not qualify for most foundation grants.
But it also means:
There is no red tape.
There is no waiting years.
Funds go directly to implementation.
We can move immediately once the property is secured.
We are structured.
We are sustainable.
We are ready.
We just need the door.
The Impact
One home stabilizes 4–6 families each year.
Over five years, that could mean 25+ mothers and children breaking cycles of addiction, untreated mental illness, instability, and generational trauma.
One year of stability can change a child’s entire future.
A supported mom becomes a confident parent.
A stable home creates a stable child.
A structured year can break a lifelong cycle.
How You Can Help
If 1,000 people give $50 — we open the doors.
If 500 people give $100 — this becomes real.
If you cannot donate, please share.
We are not just opening a house.
We are protecting children.
We are building skills.
We are restoring stability.
We are giving young moms a real chance.
Thank you for believing in this vision.
