For my bar mitzvah, my service project is going to be donating over $300 to Loaves and Fishes and I will be volunteering to make food there when I turn 14. The organization is located on North C Street in Sacramento and relies on volunteers. It is the largest Sacramento-based non-profit provider of survival services to the homeless, serving nearly 1,000 individuals daily. I hope to make a huge impact and donate this money to them and I think it is a very good cause and can definitely help try and end homelessness.
