Our fire family is rallying behind one of our own—Captain Ryan Thomas, his wife Hannah, and their two children, Rylee and Kohle.
Just days ago, 15-year-old Rylee was admitted to Valley Children’s Hospital after her parents sensed something wasn’t right. Their quick action led to the heartbreaking news that Rylee has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She remains in the care of the incredible team at Valley Children’s as doctors complete testing and finalize her treatment plan.
Through it all, Rylee has shown extraordinary courage. Even in the midst of uncertainty, she’s the one lifting her family’s spirits, her optimism shining through every step of the way. Her strength and grace are exactly what her dad, Captain Thomas, has modeled for years in service to our community—and now it’s our turn to serve them.
We’re asking for your help to support the Thomas family as they navigate this journey together. Donations will go directly toward medical expenses, travel, and the many unexpected costs that come with extended hospital care. Any amount, large or small, will make a real difference and remind this remarkable family that they’re not facing this fight alone.
Thank you for standing beside Ryan, Hannah, Kohle, and especially Rylee—with love, hope, and the kind of strength that defines our community.
