Support Ryan's Fight Against MDS
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sarah Beth, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my boyfriend Ryan and his incredible parents.
Ryan has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) — a serious and life-threatening bone marrow disorder. After years of fighting leukemia, this new diagnosis means Ryan is fighting another type of cancer and now needs a bone marrow transplant to survive.
He is currently receiving treatment at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. This will require Ryan and his family to live in Nashville for the next several months. Because of this, he’s had to take the year off from college — but he’s still locked into a full-year lease in Knoxville, where he had planned to live for school.
Ryan’s parents are doing everything they can to support him. They are currently covering:
* His Knoxville apartment lease, even though he can’t live there,
* Their home mortgage in Chattanooga,
* An Airbnb in Nashville, so they can stay near him during the transplant and 100 day recovery process,
*And food/traveling expenses all while taking some time off from their jobs.
The emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. I created this fundraiser to help relieve some of the burden his parents are carrying — so they can focus entirely on helping Ryan heal.
We’re trusting God every single day. We believe in His power to heal, in His nearness to the brokenhearted, and in the way He works through the kindness of others. If you feel led to give, pray, or share — we thank you deeply. As his new fight begins, we continue to lean on the verse that got us through the last three years of his treatment:
"The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." - Exodus 14:14
Thank you for being part of Ryan’s story.
With love and faith,
Sarah Beth
