Hey guys! I’m Jill, older sister of Ryan McComic. Three months ago, Ryan started having symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate. A recent MRI showed he has stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes, pelvic bones and upper spine. The next step is to get a biopsy, then PET scan to determine if it’s anywhere else. He’s been unable to work due to the neck and back pain he’s experiencing from the cancer. Unfortunately, the recent insurance policy he purchased won’t provide coverage for 12 months. It’s an extremely helpless feeling. He can’t proceed with any further testing until the biopsy and PET scan are paid for in full. We are hoping to get another policy started but in the meantime, we could really use your help.
