<div>On Monday, January 23,2023, my 23 yr old nephew, Japheth Bouknight, was admitted to Christus St Elizabeth hospital with acute pancreatitis. Within 24 hours it turned into necrotizing pancreatitis, he went into renal failure, then into multiple organ system failure. He was put on life support. At 4:53PM on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Japheth passed peacefully surrounded by family.

Japheth’s funeral expenses

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Karon Tupper. The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time. I am starting this GoFundMe for our “CoCo” because there is an immediate need and there will be an ongoing need.  Our family requests nothing more than your fervent prayers for Cole to be completely cured in Jesus’ name!  However, if anyone feels led and is able to make a donation of ANY amount to offset the astronomical cost of Cole’s treatment and incidental expenses incurred during this time, it would be ever so appreciated!  Please rest assured that no prayer is too short and no donation is too small!  The funds will be diligently accounted for and used solely to help ease the financial worries of my brother Mark and sister in law Jane, so that they can focus all of their energy on Cole’s treatment and recovery.   On Tuesday August 4th my brother Mark and his wife Jane were given the news that our precious Cole has  PH+  Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.   Cole also has Downs Syndrome and sadly people with Downs are approximately 30% more likely to develop Leukemia than people without Downs, however the added  complication of of the “PH positive” mutation occurs in only 1% of these cases.  Cole has been special to our family since the day he was born and indeed his cancer is proving to be equally as “special”.   God has blessed us in that Cole is already at MD Anderson in Houston receiving the best possible treatment in the world!  Diagnosis came on 8/4/2020 and by 8/6/2020 Cole was admitted and had started his fight ❤️  This has been a very difficult blow to all of our family, but Cole is facing it with the same resilience he has always shown.  Those of us left to pray and support from outside the hospital due to Covid Restrictions are inspired with each photo showing a smile and each FaceTime that we can hear a giggle.  The Covid factor has created so many additional hardships...immediate family feeling helpless to offer support because nobody is allowed into the hospital :( In fact the only reason BOTH of Cole’s parents are able to be with him is because he is so “special”.  Nobody can enter and nobody can leave.  If my brother leaves to go to work he will not be allowed back in for a minimum of 5 days!  The separation has been extremely difficult on Cole and his “Maw” who are used to seeing each other every single day.

This is our sweet Jayce who unexpectedly left this earth far too soon. He passed away at the age of 32 from a pulmonary embolism. He was a pillar of strength to those who knew him. He was a faithful servant and had a deep love for his family and friends. He was kind, loyal, honest and humble. Jayce was a man of great character that never let this world define him. He defined this world.  They were displaced from Hurricane Harvey and had recently moved to Harker Heights. Unfortunately, there is no insurance to help with the cost of funeral expenses.  Many people have asked how they could help the family, so in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation. Funeral Expenses for Jayce Drake

Chris is a Hurricane Harvey survivor with resulting life-threatening health issues and is desperately in need of our help. Her home in Rockport suffered devastating damage due to the ravages of that storm, which has drained their finances to zero and she contracted black mold poisoning while trying to live in her damaged home while awaiting repairs. She also spent much of her time helping others who suffered flood damage. Chris then also developed a rare necrotizing (flesh eating) bacterial pneumonia. The only antibiotics that are working are very, very expensive. She was forced to move out of her home to a medical rehab center in New Mexico, where the air is dry and mold-free. Please help Chris pay for these life-saving antibiotics and some of her modest living expenses for the next three to four months, until her respiratory function and improved immunity has returned. Although Chris is a veteran of the United States Navy, sadly her veteran benefits are not covering these critical medications. The following is her explanation of what is going on.... “The doctors found a large growth in my lungs. It is fortunately encapsulated, but the pneumonia is a very rare and fierce necrotizing (kills tissue) bacteria called Pseudomonas. (It is a side-effect of Black Mold poisoning. The mold and bacteria are often found where there have been natural disasters involving flooding and hurricanes).  If the heavy doses of the antibiotic do not cause the bacterial growth to partially die off, I will have to have the top part of my right lung removed. We’ll know after the next CT which will be in the next three to four weeks. I’ve already lost the area of my lung where the growth is located. Gone! Killed off! I have been moved to an Advanced Care Rehabilitation hospital in New Mexico, where I receive super doses of antibiotics via IV around the clock. I have never asked for donations for anything pertaining to me and my family before now. I have limited health insurance but, we must pay the exorbitant cost of the antibiotics I need - in excess of $2,000 a month alone. Plus, we must find the funds to keep me in New Mexico. Help Chris pay for Life-Saving Meds

Hi, everyone! This spring break I am going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. We will be building houses along with telling children and others about our amazing God. I have held back on this trip for a while feeling that God was telling me it wasn't time yet but now I feel God pushing me to step out of my comfort zone and tell the world about Him. I would also love to go for the experience of seeing others less fortunate to open my eyes to see what I should truly be greatful for. I love children and they keep a special place in heart.
