Hi everyone, we're Ryan and Tyler. We originally posted this fundraiser in May when we fell upon hard times prior to the birth of our daughter. We are so thankful to have received so much support during that time. We have been able to maintain our bills and buy groceries while we have both been out of work. We are updating the fundraiser now that Ryan has returned to work, but with one final request for assistance. We appreciate any help we receive to get us through this last stretch of financial hardship. The update is below:

We are so grateful that our daughter is healthy and thriving. Unfortunately, two weeks after she was born, Tyler was admitted to the hospital with pulmonary emboli. This has added an additional delay to the surgery he needs for his knee, because he now has to be on blood thinners for a period of time before he can safely come off of them for surgery. With this delay for surgery, there is also an obvious delay for when he will be able to return to work. Ryan was able to return to work mid-July, but will not receive a full paycheck until mid-August. In the meantime, bills are starting to accrue again and the notices are arriving. We have exhausted our immediate supports and cannot express enough gratitude for those who have been assisting us through this, but we just need a little extra until that next paycheck. Ryan has been picking up some extra hours at work, when possible, while still trying to balance the new-mom life and all that goes with it. Any donations from here on out will go towards our August expenses, groceries, and gas to get to work and appointments. Thank you all.

We are scheduled to have our baby girl on 5/26/2025 via induction and have encountered some challenges leading up to her arrival. Ryan is currently managing gestational diabetes, hypertension, and preeclampsia and just started maternity leave from work to rest and monitor for further complications. On 5/12, Tyler took a fall and broke his knee and tore his ACL. He will now be out of work until further notice and will likely require surgery. This has unfortunately left us without income prior to baby's arrival and until Ryan returns to work after maternity leave. Tyler is also waiting for his insurance to kick in on June 1, so we are currently trying to manage his bills out of pocket. If anyone is able to donate to help support our monthly expenses, gas, groceries, and baby needs, we thoroughly appreciate any help we can get. We are thankful to have a village behind us to support us through this rough patch and know we will get through, but any assistance we can get is so appreciated!
