Support Ryan Stearns' Road to Recovery
Donation protected
I am reaching out to ask for support and prayers for my godson Ryan Stearns and his family.
On the afternoon of April 24th, Ryan was involved in a very serious car accident that required him to be airlifted to UMASS Medical Center where he underwent an emergency craniotomy to repair an intercranial hemorrhage (brain bleed).
Ryan is currently in the Neuro ICU where he is receiving excellent care. After his latest MRI Ryan has been found to have a Grade 3 DAI injury (traumatic brain injury). He is making small but meaningful strides daily.
Anyone who knows Ryan knows his love of life! He an amazing young man who will do anything for anyone. He works hard and he plays hard! He has a contagious smile and when you hear him laugh, you can’t help but laugh too, even if you don’t know why.
Ryan faces a long road to recovery, which will require a prolonged hospitalization and months of inpatient rehabilitation. On top of medical costs, he and his family are now faced with lost wages, travel expenses to and from the hospital, and everyday bills that don’t stop when tragedy strikes.
Please consider donating what you can. If you’re not in a position to give financially, sharing this page with your friends/community would mean the world. Most of all, I would greatly appreciate all who see this to keep Ryan and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
I would like to express my upmost gratitude to everyone who donates, shares, or prays for Ryan’s recovery.
