Hello friends and family!
For those of you who may not know me, my name is Ryan Colley. I am a junior at Middletown High School South and am currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting. Outside of Scouts, I enjoy playing tennis and soccer, watching Formula One racing, playing drums, and spending time with my family and friends.
I began my Scouting journey in 2014 as a Cub Scout and transitioned into Boy Scouts with Troop 246 in March 2019. Over the years, I've earned over 30 merit badges, held multiple leadership positions such as Senior Patrol Leader and Troop Librarian, and completed numerous hours of community service. Now, I am working on the final requirement to earn my Eagle rank — my Eagle Scout Service Project.
I'm excited to share that I will be partnering with Serenity Stables, a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping veterans through equine-assisted therapy. Serenity Stables provides a peaceful, healing environment where veterans can connect with horses to improve their emotional and physical well-being.
For my Eagle Project, I will be building two hay loading trolleys and a ramp. The trolleys will facilitate the loading and transport of slow feed hay bags from the storage shed to the horses in the paddocks. This project will enhance the daily operations at Serenity Stables and support their mission to serve those who have served our country.
I am reaching out to kindly ask for your financial support in making this project possible. Your donation will go directly toward the cost of building materials and supplies. Every dollar helps bring this vision to life and will ultimately make a lasting impact on the lives of veterans in our community.
Thank you so much for your support!
— Ryan Colley
