Greetings, Friends and Allies,

I’m starting this fund on behalf of my dear friend, Ryan Anderson.

Ryan is a bright light in the LGBTQ+ and Allies community—a true Instagram sensation and Fabulous Meme Lord who has lifted countless spirits during some of the darkest times in America. His humor, heart, and creativity have been a lifeline for so many of us.

Ryan is also a deeply private person who struggles to ask for help, which is why I’m stepping up to do it for him. This fund will go directly toward covering Ryan’s basic cost of living. Through devastating circumstances, Ryan’s career position was given away after he took time off to heal and process trauma. Now, his situation is dire—he’s facing the possibility of losing power and stability, making it impossible to continue the work and community-building that so many of us rely on.

**Update** Ryan is currently unhoused/homeless. Through this fund, he has been able to rent a small storage space for his few belongings. Unfortunately though, Ryan is sleeping in a wooded area next to Walmart. We are now moving to the next phase of this fundraiser: raising enough money to buy a camper van Ryan can live in and have the ability of moving into a safer location. We've upgraded the goal to raising 30k, but will start looking for vans as soon as progress is made with monetary mile stones. 10k to start with.

Ryan has given so much of himself to others, including me, in the short time I’ve known him. This fund is a way to give back to someone who has poured light, laughter, and resilience into the lives of so many. Pride means more than celebration—it’s also about standing by each other when times are hard.

After many conversations advocating for his well-being, Ryan has agreed to let us rally behind him. Let’s show him that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
