Hi, My name is Thomas, and next month I will travel to the US to join Run geordie run, a local North East charity runner, who is running across the US in 100 days!

Mark is a very well known charity runner who has raised 360K so far. I will be joining him in Denver, Colorado, and will Run with him through the Rocky Mountains. I will be driving the motor home, cook for him, do his laundry, and look after his feet! During my time with him I will be attemting to join him on the road daily, and run 200 miles in 12 days!

For Mark, who is running 50km's every day for 100 days straight the mental aspect being away from his wife, his home is very hard. To give Mark an enormous morale boost I decided to ask all my friends, family members, colleagues, to raise extra funds, this to enable me to hand Mark the single largest donation of the tour during our time together.

This is obviously a surprise, hence my personal collection for him.

Please note! My time, travel costs, food and all other related expenses are all being paid by myself. Every penny raised will go to Mark, and the charity he is running for.

The St Benedict Hospice in Sunderland This hospice looked after his mum in her final days. He has been running pretty much around the world for them in gratitude ever since.
