Support Rudy’s Family During His NICU Journey

Our family is finding ourselves in an impossible situation trying to navigate our new reality of welcoming a preemie into our lives.

On October 1, 2024 Rudy Ambrose Sage Wright was born at 27 weeks 4 days gestation. They estimate that he’ll be spending time in the NICU until around his expected due date of December 27, 2024. The NICU is a 40 minute drive each way from our home.

I started being hospitalized on September 27th due to complications, and came home on Saturday October 12th.

I had a 3 hour cesarean with complications due to scar tissue, a tubal ligation, a hemmhorage, and then acute post operative pain that led to additional care being needed, and I still may need to return to the hospital for additional treatment.

That said, my husband may be able to take leave with partial pay, but we don’t have approval yet, and we still need to be able to pay our mortgage, car payments, car insurance, etc.

We don’t like having to put our situation out there, again. And I’ve fundraised for animals, friends, and even ourselves.

But… we need help. We really do. We don’t have credit cards or savings to rely on in an emergency like this.
