Every day in Texas, 57 children are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect and abandonment. That's over 20K children per year. Over the past few years, I have felt the call from God to take action.

I'm excited and overwhelmed to announce that I have almost completed the licensing process to become a foster mom! I have been given the green light to start preparing the nursery and buying everything that I can, to be able to welcome a child into my home. This next chapter of my life is going to be a wild ride and I need your help.

I will be taking in children that are ages newborn to 18months. That means I need to have supplies on hand at all times, to be ready for this age range, boys and girls. The goal is to have a placement by beginning of October. Since I don't have kids of my own, I'm starting from scratch! Crib, changing table, car seat, clothes.....all the things.
