Support Roxanne Kellogg After Tragic Loss and a Chimney Fire

Help Roxanne After Losing Alan, a Chimney Fire, and Ongoing Hardship

We never imagined having to write something like this, but our family truly needs help.

Roxanne, lost the love of her life, her husband Alan Kellogg, just one month after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. They had been married for over 40 years and had just retired, full of plans to travel together in their camper and finally enjoy the life they worked so hard for. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and we are all still trying to find our footing without him.

Only two days after losing Alan, tragedy struck again. A chimney fire broke out in their home, causing more than $15,000 in damage and destroying the main source of heat. This was the home where they planned to spend their retirement together, and now it requires major repairs just to be safe and livable.

At the same time, Roxanne is facing additional financial strain. She has a tenant who has not paid rent for over six months, and the apartment has been left severely damaged, requiring significant repairs before it can be rented again. What was meant to help support retirement has instead become another overwhelming burden.

Roxanne spent her career serving others as the Officer in Charge of the Cummington Post Office, and our family has deep roots in Cummington, Worthington, and Williamsburg. She has always been someone who shows up for others — and now she needs support herself.

We are raising funds to help with:

* A new heating system
* Chimney and home repairs
* Repairs to the damaged apartment
* Basic household bills during this difficult transition

This has been an incredibly painful time, especially during the holidays. This Christmas was nothing like it should have been, and our family is trying to grieve while navigating loss, damage, and financial stress all at once.

We appreciate anything — donations, shares, prayers, or kind words. Every bit of support truly helps and means more than we can express.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping Roxanne during one of the hardest chapters of her life.
