Help Provide an Emotional Support Dog for my daughter, Rosie

Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and we are reaching out for help from our community.

My daughter is a bright, loving young girl who is autistic and medically fragile. She faces daily challenges most children her age never have to experience. One of the things that could make a meaningful difference in her life right now is the companionship of an emotional support dog.

An emotional support dog would provide her with comfort, stability, and a sense of safety. Having a loyal companion by her side could ease her anxiety, help her cope with medical and sensory challenges, and offer unconditional love when she needs it most.

At the same time, our family is facing another heartbreaking challenge. I am currently on hospice care, and it is difficult to put into words the weight of knowing my daughter will need continued comfort and support as she navigates this journey.

The emotional support dog will not only be a companion for her now, but also a lasting source of comfort and stability in the difficult days ahead.

We are also praying for the possibility that a breeder would choose our family to donate a Golden. We would be extremely grateful if this were to happen.

The costs of adoption, training, veterinary care, and supplies are significant, and unfortunately, it is not something we can manage on our own right now. We are hoping to raise enough money to cover:

    •    Adoption fees or breeder costs for a suitable dog

    •    Veterinary care and vaccinations

    •    Food, bedding, and supplies to give the dog a safe, loving home
