Support Rosie After Losing Her Mother
Donation protected
Frances Della Valle died recently after a prolonged struggle with a number of illnesses. She was the rock of her family and the sole source of financial support for her intellectually disabled daughter, Rosie.
Rosie is a kind, helpful, cheerful soul who faithfully took care of both of her parents for most of her life, in return for their financial support. Rosie works as an office assistant, a job she received through a partnership with a charity that finds work opportunities for disabled adults, but makes only about $10k/year. With both parents gone, Rosie's brother is seeking help from the community. Rosie needs to be moved into a smaller and more affordable apartment, and moving expenses are costly. Rosie also needs a disability lawyer to help her get access to social services that she's been denied for most of her life, and retaining that legal aid will be expensive as well.
Anything the community is willing to chip in for Rosie's continued care is welcome and appreciated.
