Hi everyone,

My name is Kadeem Powell and I live in St. James, Jamaica. As many of you know, our community has been severely impacted by the recent hurricane, leaving many of our most vulnerable neighbours without basic necessities. A few friends and I are launching a fundraising campaign to provide essential support with the goal being: elderly residents, children, and homeless individuals who have been affected, specifically in the community in which I live.

Your donation will help provide:

• Food and water for those in need

• Shelter and temporary housing for families and individuals displaced by the storm

• Medical care and supplies

• Warm clothing and blankets for the homeless and those without access to basic necessities

This is being co-organized by my close and trusted friend Rebekah in Canada who will be managing the account and transferring the money raised directly to us. Every contribution, big or small, will bring hope and relief to those who need it most. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will help us rebuild and support our community during this difficult time.
