Hello, my name is Rosa and I am pregnant with my first child. I am so excited to be a mom; I have worked as a teacher and in daycare and love being around children, so having one of my own is a miracle. I am currently at 28 weeks, but as of a few days ago, a serious complication arose and I had to be airlifted to a specialized hospital. Luckily, I was able to be stabilized before an emergency c-section took place, but I am on borrowed time. The staff here have been excellent in caring for me, but I know this care in the end will come with a high price. The plan is to keep me going day to day until I reach 34 weeks to give my daughter the best chance. As I am unable to work now and large bills will start to come in, I am kindly and respectfully requesting any assistance you can spare. There is a $15,000 minimum I must pay before insurance will cover the rest of my costs and approximately $20,000 for care-flight service. I am also requesting and additional $5,000 to help cover other day to day expenses and bills that will accumulate over the next few weeks.
