We’re Adopting! Help Us Bring Our Child Home

Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted visitors,

We’re Rony and Kcristell, and we have BIG news: we’re adopting!

After six years of marriage and four years of trying to grow our family, we’ve walked through the pain of secondary infertility, including an ectopic pregnancy in 2022. We’ve tried several fertility treatments without success, which stretched us emotionally, spiritually, and financially. And yet, we wouldn’t change our story. We’ve seen God gently guide us through it all; deepening our faith and revealing that adoption isn’t our Plan B. It’s always been part of God’s Plan A for us.

Adoption already runs deep in our story. Rony himself was adopted at age 12 by his stepfather. As a child, I dreamed of adopting. When we were newly married, we said we would be adopting one day, now we know that “one day” is today. We’re ready to pour our love into a child who is deeply wanted and chosen.

Why We’re Raising Funds

We’re working with a trusted and licensed agency here in the Seattle area. We’ve already been screened and accepted and are now completing paperwork, background checks, and preparing for our home study.

However, adoption is costly. Domestic infant adoptions in the U.S. typically cost between $25,000 and $50,000. These costs cover:

• Agency services

• Home study

• Legal and attorney fees

• Support for the birth mother (medical, housing, counseling)

• CPR certifications, travel, and other adoption-related expenses
