I am Elizabeth Angove. My son Ronin Angove is in dire need of appropriate and dedicated legal representation.

An incident occured January 2023 where my son was tried and convicted of a crime. He was sentenced to time served. Within 2 months he was arrested again and charged again for the same incident. Ronin has been incarcerated for 2 and 1/2 years as a result and only recently was he indicted. His arraignment was supposed to occur today; however, as his attorney was not present, a continuance was presented. According to his ever-absent and almost impossible to contact public defender, the prosecution is offering an excessive sentence WITHOUT time served. Essentially, this means he has had to sit in county jail for the last 30 months and none of the time will count toward his sentence. This is only one of a handful of issues.

I have found an attorney who is willing to represent Ronin; however, the cost is a flat fee of $6000 due upfront, which is a sum I unfortunately am not able to immediately pay without placing myself and Ronin's sister in extreme financial duress.

Prior to the incidents that have occurred to get us where we are, I had begged and pleaded for help for my son so he would have half a fighting chance. Thus far, those pleas have been ignored, yet ongoing incarceration and inevitable institutionalization have been offered.
