Growing up I hated my birthday. I felt guilty for being alive when so many people I loved were not. After God gave me a second chance at life in 2018, I decided to change my outlook and truly held on to the reality that life is a precious gift from God.

This year for my birthday I asked my friends to run to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charity in San Diego. RMH is a nonprofit organization that provides accommodations and warm meals for families who have kids in the hospital. As a kid I ate a lot of meals at RMH and spent a lot of nights in their cozy beds, including the night my brother passed away.

So, to give back, I am donating to the RMH to honor the life God gave me and all the resources, like the RMH, that He blessed my family with. If you would like to contribute to my birthday celebration please feel free to donate however much God puts on your heart!
