Hi friend!
Do you remember going to camp as a kid, making new friends, and having the time of your life? Well, that’s exactly what Ronald McDonald Camp for Good Times (“Camp”) does for thousands of children with cancer! You can be a part of Camp’s positive impact on these children and their families too!
My name is Grace Magedman, and I’m humbled and proud to be honored as one of the 2022 Heroes for Healing! I’ve been a long-time supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities and Camp, and I’m fundraising $20,000 to celebrate their 40 years of impact! All funds raised will go to Camp to support their continued efforts!
A few reasons to support Camp:
- 40% of campers live below the Federal Poverty line. For these and all campers, Camp is free-of-charge.
- 80% of campers come from low to moderate-income families that may not otherwise have access to camp programming and a support community linked to improved health outcomes.
- 70% of campers are youth of color; equity, diversity and inclusion are integral to all of Camp’s programs and practices.
- 15% of campers, on average, have disabilities. All Camp programs are fully inclusive and accessible.
- 70% of parents who completed the post-summer Camp 2020 survey reported that their child was able to create connections with new or existing campers going through similar situations.
Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is an organization that is doing the right things with the dollars it raises, and I’m proud to be associated with Camp. No amount is too small- even $5 can add up to major impact! Please join me today in supporting their continued efforts in building a community where children and their families can embrace life and healing with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage and joy!
