My name is Ron Carter. We, my Veronica wife and I, were displaced by the Eaton Fire. On the night of the Eaton Fire, our lives changed forever. Our home was where we built our dreams and created a life full of memories.

We have not lived in our home since January 7, 2025 (more than over three months). As the aftermath of the Eaton Fire, which destroyed three structures on our property in Altadena, unfolds, our expenses continue to increase.

In the early hours of the Eaton Fire, with flames quickly approaching our home and smoke filling the sky, we had minutes to evacuate. We are devastated but grateful to be alive.

The past three months have been overwhelming as we try to rebuild our lives. Thank you for offering your sentiments.
