Would you be willing and able to help out a disabled combat veteran? Please read on for his story.
We all have a story. We are all pushing through tough times. This campaign is for those who recognize the importance of our vets and their struggles. This one just happens to hit really close to home because its my dad.
If you are in a position to help, there is a pretty big financial need. My dad Ron Blevins is a tough survivor. He was awarded the Bronze star in Vietnam for combat service as an MP flying hundreds of successful missions. He was once shot down and suffers many health issues from his service including exposure to Agent Orange and PTSD. He has survived lymphoma, heart attacks, open heart surgery, several hard falls, and many other ailments. But at 77 years strong he pushes on.
Though his health is now more stable, financially things have been spiraling out of control. He lives with family which helps but recently succumbed to scammers posing as federal authorities. He lost thousands in this scam before reaching out to let us know and has been left with zero savings and many bills due. We as family are doing the best we can but he could use your help. Of course he feels embarrassed by the situation. We will work with him to oversee things moving forward so this cant happen again.
If you are able to help and willing to give Ron would greatly appreciate anything you can do to assist.
Thanks in advance for reading this and for your generosity!
