Hello everyone, this is my uncle Romulo Santiago Solis. He’s a 52-year-old man with a big family, He has 11 siblings, all from a humble background. A year and a half ago, he immigrated to the U.S. because he needed a better life. Unfortunately, a year ago, he began to feel sick. Once at the hospital, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. After being hospitalized in elmhurst hospital he could no longer afford the living costs. At the hospital they told him he had a low chance of surviving this cancer since it was malignant. He took the choice of going back to his home country to look for natural medicine and to be with his family. Ever since then he has been fighting strong against this disease but sadly he has worsened and is currently hospitalized in critical conditions. For this reason we are asking everyone to help raise money due to the heavy costs of medicine and hospitalization. In Ecuador hospitals have been facing severe financial difficulties. It is up to the patient to pay everything they need and find their medicine in order to live. Despite everything, my uncle continues to fight with courage and faith. Our family has come together to support him, but we cannot do this alone. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help cover his medical expenses and give him a chance at a better life. Hola a todos, este es mi tío Rómulo Santiago Solís. Él es un hombre de 52 años con una familia grande; tiene 11 hermanos, todos de origen humilde. Una vez en el hospital, le diagnosticaron cáncer de estómago. Después de ser hospitalizado en el Hospital Elmhurst, ya no pudo cubrir los costos de vida. En el hospital le dijeron que tenía pocas posibilidades de sobrevivir a este cáncer ya que era maligno. Tomó la decisión de regresar a su país natal para buscar medicina natural y estar con su familia. Desde entonces ha estado luchando con mucha fuerza contra esta enfermedad, pero tristemente ha empeorado y actualmente se encuentra hospitalizado en estado crítico.Por esta razón, estamos pidiendo a todos que nos ayuden a recaudar dinero debido a los altos costos de medicinas y hospitalización. En Ecuador, los hospitales han estado enfrentando graves dificultades financieras. Depende del paciente pagar todo lo que necesita y conseguir sus medicinas para poder vivir. A pesar de todo, mi tío continúa luchando con valentía y fe. Nuestra familia se ha unido para apoyarlo, pero no podemos hacerlo solos.
