My heart is heavy as I share some difficult news about my dear cousin, Roger McCarville. He has been diagnosed with advanced Esophageal Cancer.

If you have had the pleasure of knowing Roger, you already know he puts the "F" in FUN! He has a magical way of turning any gathering into the party. More than that, Roger possesses the biggest heart, a quality he learned early on from his wonderful parents, Roger and Doris, and has spent his life helping others.

Now, our incredible Roger (or my favorite Dude as I like to call him!) is facing a significant battle of his own, and with his trademark spirit, he won't go down without a fight!

The reality of ongoing medical treatments means Roger is unable to work. I have started this fundraising effort to lift that burden, allowing him to focus all his energy on his health. Every contribution will directly support Roger in this fight.

As we all pray for a miracle, Roger is guided and inspired by the spirit of Father Solanus Casey. It is his faith as well as our love, family, and friendship that will be his strength on this journey.
