Recently, their mother, during a manic episode, locked herself and my 8-year-old son in a public Starbucks bathroom with a gun and a hatchet. In another devastating situation, she placed my daughter, Grace, in a mental hospital without my knowledge, despite Grace not needing such treatment. This is part of a pattern of emotional and psychological abuse that my children have been subjected to over the years.
CPS and detectives have advised me that my best option to protect my children is to hire a good lawyer before our October 8th custody hearing.
