Support Robin Newman's Children After Tragedy
Donation protected
My brother, Alfrado "Robin" Newman, a dedicated Constable of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), was tragically killed by a taxi driver in Jamaica on February 5th. He leaves behind four children who now face an uncertain future without him. I am organizing this GoFundMe to provide them with some support in this devastating time.
Robin was more than a police officer—he was a true servant to his community, a loyal friend, and a devoted father. He worked seven days a week to provide for his children, never once complaining, always putting their needs above his own. Even with his demanding schedule, he remained deeply connected to those he loved.
I met my brother later in life when our father was sick in the hospital, and in that time, I saw his true character shine. Despite being far away, he checked in on our dad every single day, learning every detail of his illness and offering unwavering support. When our father was discharged, Robin didn’t stop—he traveled to New York just to see how he could help. That was the kind of man he was: Robin was kind, loyal, protective, and always showing up for others.
Each morning, he sent me scriptures to encourage me. Since his passing, I have heard the same stories from so many people—how Robin made time for them, how he lifted them up, how he never wavered in his love and kindness. I am in awe of how he balanced his work, and his children, while remaining so present in all of our lives.
I don’t understand why someone so young and good was taken so soon, but now, all I can do is try to honor his legacy by helping his children. If you are able to contribute, share, or offer any assistance, it would mean the world to our family.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
