Support Robbie's Custody Battle for a Better Life

As some of you are familiar with my story, I am fighting to gain custody of my nephew Robbie. Fighting to get him back in my care where he thrived and was making great progress. Unfortunately, his parents are neglectful and irresponsible. I’m trying to get him the proper care, attention, and love this innocent baby deserves. All of my kids, especially my 7-year-old son, enjoyed the 5 months they shared together while he was living with us. He misses him very much. Robbie would run to him as soon as he walked in the door from school. They truly were best buddies.

We went to court on April 1st, and I had to represent myself, which meant I stood no chance without an attorney present. The parents had an attorney, so it was all of them against me, and my voice was not heard, nor was any of my evidence reviewed. I just don’t understand how any judge would side with a mother who doesn’t have custody of her 6-year-old son due to neglect. Also, she abandoned her twin babies when they were 5 months old. The judge didn’t know this because she wouldn’t allow me to explain or show evidence of the neglect.

I am trying to file an appeal to reconsider the judge's ruling. I’ve been so overwhelmed with calling so many phone numbers trying to receive help with representation; however, I do not have lawyer money. If anyone would like to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. Any amount would be very helpful, no matter how big or small. Thank you for your time in reading my grievance.
