Support RLA Soccer in Memory of David Buxton

David Buxton was a man with a selfless heart. He dedicated much of his life to his students at Rothschild Leadership Academy while teaching social studies and history. Dave was an avid soccer and football fan and had the pleasure of earning the title of Head Coach of the RLA Soccer Team. We’ve unfortunately been faced with the decision to ask ourselves, “what would Dave want?”. In knowing him, the family has unanimously agreed that he would forego flowers and gifts as we edge closer to laying him to rest. Instead, his love for his students and student athletes, has led us here. On Dave’s behalf, the family is asking that charitable donations be given to the Rothschild Leadership Academy soccer program through this Gofundme page. All funds will be donated, in Dave’s name, to the soccer program he led and loved. We truly appreciate all the love and condolences during this difficult time. On Dave’s behalf, we hope to give something back to the kids who have brought him so much joy. Thank you!
