Support RIO SUPERNOVA's Journey to Florida

Dear Friends and Families,

We are thrilled to share that our Lego Robotic Team (FLL #7465), RIO SUPERNOVA, won the Upstate FLL Regional Championship in Buffalo and will represent the region (out of a total of 170 teams) at the Sunshine Invitational in Florida in late June! We need your support to make our tournament trip a reality.

About the team: We are the First LEGO League team #7465, RIO SUPERNOVA, from the Corning Robotics Club in Corning-Elmira, NY. Our team is a group of 9-13-year-old kids who love Lego Robotics and have a passion for teamwork, robotic building, innovation, and fun. We strive to serve the local community and provide our best efforts to help kids grow their interests and capabilities in robotics.

About the season: In the 2024-2025 FLL season, our team has demonstrated exceptional skill and collaboration throughout the competition. Their success is a reflection of countless hours of preparation, problem-solving, and a shared passion for robotics. In the 2024-2025 Finger Lake Regional tournament, the team won the Robotic Performance Award, Runner-Up Championship, and Coach Award.

What's next: Our team has secured a spot at the prestigious international invitational tournament in Florida this June, representing the 170 FLL teams in the Finger Lake region. The team has been working hard to prepare for the Florida competition and represent our community. To make our dream come true, we are seeking your support to help cover travel, lodging, and competition expenses.
