Hi my name is Rebecca and I'm fundraising for my beautiful nephew riley.
Riley is adorable, he is such a loving and sweet boy with so much to offer the world.
He has such a caring sensitive nature.
Riley is supposed to be starting his journey to exploring the world and dreaming of what he wants to be when he grows up. Playing with friends and learning all He needs to know through his important educational years.
He is his mum's shadow, her best friend and the bond they have is truly something special.
Riley has 3 brothers who adore him so much. Growing up together and sharing experiences together. They really are a team.
Rileys innocence was destroyed on the 17th of March 2026 at just 14 years old.
A little boy and his family once again shattered by the words no one wants to hear.
Riley was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia, an aggressive fast growing cancer and begins intensive chemotherapy treatment just 48 hours after diagnosis.
His mum is a single parent and an amazing parent who also has an autistic little boy at home. A son serving in the British armed forces and an older son taking on the huge responsibility to care for his brother at home in Middlesbrough, why his mum and other brother are an hour away at the RVI in newcastle.
As you can imagine trying to pay bills and food shopping for your children at home while trying to support yourself and your sick child in hospital is a huge challenge and challenge that cannot be achieved without the support from others.
Travel expenses are beginning to have a huge impact on finances and anything we can do to relive some financial pressure would be the most amazing thing we can offer them during this time.
I believe in times of need such as this people do come together and humanity is one of the greatest things on earth.
The beauty of the world begins with our children and as a parent my self I cannot put my self in a position of any parent who has sadly had to hear those words or been presented with a burden so severe.
I do believe deeply we can help and that any donation no matter how big or small really does make an difference. Knowing other people are there thinking of you and sending you support helps emotionally, offering some strength in such a difficult time. Any funds raised will be sent directly to riley and his family to support the financial burden they are dealing with. To allow for visits from Riley brothers. To pay for food and essentials and just relieve the unnecessary financial worries. Their focus can then be on their emotional journey and supporting each other through this long and traumatic process they have to endure.
Thank you so much in advance for your kindness and please pray for riley.
