Help Rhonda Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire

On Friday night, September 26th, our friend and coworker, Rhonda, experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed nearly everything she owned. In an instant, she lost her home, her belongings, and, heartbreakingly, two of her four beloved cats.

While we are so grateful her family made it out safely, her dad is still in the burn unit at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She is now facing the overwhelming task of starting over with nothing. She’s in urgent need of essentials like clothing, food, and temporary housing while she begins the long road to recovery. (We have her in a hotel right now and we have an apartment ready for her next week, but it’s not furnished.)

We’re coming together as her work family and community to lift some of the heavy burden she’s carrying right now. Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly to helping her rebuild her life and cover immediate expenses.
