Hi! I am Jacquie (@WomenfortheResistance) and I am creating this fundraiser for a fellow friend and fascism fighting comrade Toby, AKA "@ResistTheCoup."

Though he has not gone against community standards, his social media pages have been unfairly removed by META last week, out of the blue, without allowing an appeal, thusly limiting his access to seeking his usual donations that enable him to fund his weekly protest costs.

We have no doubt these unfair removals and his blacklist are due to his peaceful activist content.

He has spent the entire year showing up across the country from Ventura, to Washington DC.

In addition to weekly protests including organizing freeway overpass protests, he started the notorious "Tesla Diner Takedown" that happens every Friday and Saturday. Each weekend evening he then leads the team from the Tesla Diner to the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center to continue the protest of the egregious, unacceptable actions occurring there 24/7.

Fighting for our immigrant community, neighbors and against fascism each and every week isn't cheap! From gas money, signage, snacks, meals, and drinks for team members, public transportation, etc.

Please consider a donation that would enable our friend "Resist The Coup" to keep fighting through the New Year (and until his next major work gig!)

Toby's commitment to helping others and standing up for his values is truly remarkable.
