Support Rescue Efforts in Nepal: In Memory of Hikaru
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Soniya Gautam. I am a high school student in Keller, Texas. I’m raising funds to support rescue agencies in Nepal by providing essential equipment and technology used during floods and natural disasters.
This effort is deeply personal to me. I’m doing it in memory of my beloved brother, Hikaru, who tragically passed away from drowning. Unfortunately, the rescue operation wasn’t successful due to a lack of timely resources.
This year, I’ll be traveling to Nepal to personally support this cause through the Hikaru Gautam Foundation, which my family established under my grandfather’s leadership. The foundation has already helped many communities—donating bicycles to students, providing warm clothes and school supplies, and equipping remote hospitals every year during the time of my brother’s birthday.
I kindly ask for your support. Your contribution can make a real difference in saving lives by helping rescue teams in Nepal be better prepared for emergencies. Thank you for being a part of this mission.
