Severely Injured ESE Teacher needs your support, Ms. Wolfe
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Yvette and I work with Renee Wolfe at a school. She has been an ESE teacher for 19 years. Renee has dedicated her career to ESE students, specializing in students with autism and severe behavioral needs. In mid January 2025, Renee was severely hurt at work and has been out of work on bedrest and will require spinal back surgery. She will require at least 6 weeks of recovery and PT after surgery. It could take up to a year to be almost back to 90% of what she was and hopefully resume her normal teaching activities. Renee is unable to work and pay her monthly bills. Renee is a pillar of the school and community. She is a single mother with a 9 year old daughter. Renee is always an active community helper. She is now in need of our help.
The family is asking that you please consider making any donation that you feel comfortable with to help relieve some of the stress from the monthly bills in this difficult time. She is already behind on the monthly bills since being out of work from January. All proceeds will go towards all the bills that will inevitably pile up and supplies/food for them once they eventually transition back to normal.
Thank you in advance for all your contributions. God Bless and thank you for all the much needed prayers for a speedy recovery.
Thank you ❤️ Yvette
Update: Surgery was performed on 3/7/25. Renee is able to move her ankle, knee, and toes now. She is still in a lot of pain.
On 3/21/25, Renee received some upsetting news when she went back to the neurosurgeon. She is still in a lot of pain. on bedrest, and unable to work. If the swelling, pain, and nerves do not show improvements by the next apt. on April 4th another MRI will be scheduled. Based on the results another surgery might be required. Please keep Renee in your prayers during this difficult time.
Please share this link to help and show support for our beloved friend, coworker, and neighbor to help relieve some stress from the bills that are adding up due to not being able to work.
God Bless, ❤️ Yvette
Update 4/13/2025
Renee had her 2nd Spinal Surgery on 4/11/2025. The doctor said the herniation was worse this time than previously and she had a fracture in one of her vertebrae's. Renee did end up spending the night in the hospital and was released to come home Saturday night. She is in a lot of pain and is on strict bedrest for the next 6-8 weeks. She requires lots of bedrest and no physical activity other than short, slow walks. Renee is not allowed to BLT (Bend, Lift, or Twist) until she is released from the doctors care (approximately June/July time frame). She is required to wear a back brace and use a walker for 6-8 weeks if not longer.
Renee continues to need a lot of help, support, prayers for her recovery and to help pay her bills.
Thank you all for who has already contributed and God Bless.
Please continue to share Renee's GoFundMe link on your page and with you friends.
God Bless, ❤️ Yvette
