Support Recovery for the Siedschlag family

On 9/17, Dad (Roger Siedschlag) was working on his tractor in the driveway when it rolled over top of him.

Thankfully, Mom (Sharon) was nearby when it happened and several neighbors came running to help. Flight for Life transported him from the house to a nearby trauma facility where he was stabilized, underwent extensive orthopedic surgery, and received ongoing care. He has since been transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he will be working hard to recover and rebuild his strength to bear weight and walk again. He is expected to spend several weeks inpatient before being reassessed to gauge his readiness to transition back to home under Mom’s supervision and support.

We praise God for his safekeeping of Dad as the outcome of this tragic accident could certainly have been much worse.

Many of our friends and family have already begun reaching out to ask for how they can help and support our parents at this time.

With all of us kids living out of state, we cannot tell you how much your willingness to help means to us.

We have given this quite a bit of thought and truly believe the most helpful thing would be financial support to offset the ranging needs related to Dad’s care and recovery. Mom will need to spend quite a bit of money on gas/transportation, meals out, home care needs, and misc medical expenses ranging from forthcoming bills to at-home equipment.

Any amount you are able to give to support Dad’s recovery and care for our family at this time is greatly appreciated.
