Hello, my name is Diana, and I had the blessing of working with Rebecca Oberley for the past three years.
It’s hard to find the right words because Rebecca wasn’t just a coworker—she was a bright spirit in every room. She was the one who could bring a smile on the hardest days, the one who joked, laughed, and cared with her whole heart. She loved deeply—her husband, her four children, and especially her grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
On November 14th, 2025, Rebecca’s life was taken in a tragic and unbelievable accident. She was on her way from her home in Kinsley, Kansas, to Texas to visit her daughter and two grandchildren—something she was so excited for. Along the highway, her vehicle struck a deer, and she pulled over to check the damage. As she stepped out, the gear didn’t fully catch, and the vehicle rolled. In a split second, a beautiful life was gone. A mother, a wife, a grandmother, a friend—taken in a way none of us can truly understand.
The shock has left her family broken. Her husband has lost the love of his life. Her children have lost the woman who raised them, supported them, and held their world together. Her grandchildren will grow up hearing stories about how deeply she loved them. And those of us who worked with her will forever feel the emptiness her absence leaves behind.
With the holidays just around the corner—days Rebecca always looked forward to—this grief feels heavier, sharper, and almost impossible to carry.
We are creating this GoFundMe to help her family with funeral costs, counseling, travel, and anything else they may need as they try to navigate the unimaginable. No amount can take away their pain, but even a small contribution can ease the weight they are carrying right now.
Thank you—from the bottom of our hearts—for any support, any prayers, and any love you can offer.
Your kindness means more than words can ever express.
