- I am Raymond Stroud III, I'm the former Security Guard for the Pittsburgh Pirates of the MLB, who was involved in an incident in which a fight took place on May 4th 2025, where a fan and I fought which led to the fan spitting blood, what wasn't shown on video was the dispute between a concession stand worker and two fans, I were I stepped in to protect a fellow co-worker to help deescalate the situation. Due to that I was suspended for a month and has been out of work since. I am looking for support for those in our community and across the nation to reach the goal of $10,000. I’ve served many roles within the community from teaching to coaching to mentorship with security. I enjoyed my two seasons within the organization, meeting great people, reuniting with familiar faces, and helping fans who need assistance whether that's local or out town fans. This was my only negative interaction I've experienced with a fan where I found myself in an intense altercation while for the Pittsburgh Pirates with it being a family-oriented environment, I spent my time ensuring the safety of fans and their numerous co-workers I came across who can attest to that. I'm putting this fund together to share my story because it has been challenging since being let go from the Pittsburgh pirates. This was the job I held while pursuing my basketball coaching career which I just started this past fall. you can contact me through email, any donations will be graciously appreciated!!
