On Thursday, May 22, 2025 God was watching over
Raylan. A mower accident caused Raylan to sustain
serious injuries to his left leg and foot. He was airlifted
to Riley Children's Hospital from Plymouth hospital due
to the severity of the injuries. At Riley's, he received
surgery the evening of May 22. The orthopedic surgeon
placed pins in his foot due to the fractures caused by
the mower. The surgeon also repaired the muscular
tissue of his lower left leg. Raylan received another
surgery May 24 on his leg. We are so grateful for God's
protection during this incident.
Raylan has been resilient through the process with
great spirits. He can't wait to get back to his normal
routine and have a sleepover with his cousins at Nana
and Papa's house. If you talk to him, he will brighten
your day with his strength through his recovery. At
almost 5 years old, he has handled the accident with
positivity and we are thankful to God for continuing to
bless him.
There is a need for prayers and financial help as Adrian,
Cassie, Raylan and baby Bella navigate Raylan's road to
recovery. He will undergo more surgeries at Riley's in
the future as well as physical therapy. Raylan will also
be going home in a wheelchair and he may need other
equipment in the future to support his road back to
normalcy. We are asking for any help you can provide
to help ease the financial burden this accident has
caused.
Thank you all for your support and prayers. God bless!!
