My name is Rawan Hammash, I am 26 years old and pregnant, writing these words while my family and I are living through one of the hardest periods of our lives.

During the war, our home was completely destroyed, and we lost everything we owned in a single moment. We no longer have a house to protect us, and now we are living in a tent under extremely harsh conditions, struggling every day just to survive and secure the most basic necessities of life.

Some nights we sleep hungry, wondering how we will survive the next day inside our tent. I live every moment in fear, not only for myself, but for my unborn baby. I fear giving birth while we have no safe home, no stability, and no ability to provide even the most basic care for my child.

I urgently need vitamins, proper nutrition, medical care, and basic necessities, but we can barely afford food, clean water, or daily living supplies.

My brother Mustafa is 18 years old and studies Human Medicine at Al-Azhar University. Since he was young, he dreamed of becoming a doctor to help people and save lives, especially after witnessing so much pain and suffering around him.

Despite the war, displacement, and destruction surrounding us, Mustafa is still trying to hold on to his education and future. But studying medicine comes with extremely high tuition fees, university debts, transportation costs, books, and educational expenses that our family can no longer afford. Without support, he may be forced to stop his studies and lose the dream he worked so hard for.

Our younger brother Mahmoud is only 15 years old and is trying to continue his education despite everything happening around us. After schools were destroyed, he was forced to attend private educational centers so he would not lose his future, but the costs are now beyond our ability.

At the same time, both of our parents are sick and unable to work, leaving our family without any source of income or stability.

We are not asking for luxury.

We are simply asking for a chance to live with dignity and protect our future. We desperately need support so we can secure food, medicine, education, and the basic necessities every human being deserves.

Please do not leave our family alone in this suffering.
